Terms of use
Last updated November 5, 2026
By using SecPeers you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. SecPeers is run by Omar Rezec.
Membership
- Membership is free and by application. A person reviews every application, and we may decline or end any membership.
- Membership is for people who run, build or buy IT and security inside their own organization. People whose job is to sell, market or resell IT or security products can sponsor and post roles, but can't join as members.
- Give accurate details when you apply, and keep your account to yourself.
How members treat each other
- Discussions and dinners run under the Chatham House rule: use what you hear, but don't say who said it or where they work.
- No selling, recruiting pitches or collecting contact details for sales.
- Be accurate and respectful. Don't share anything you aren't allowed to share, including your employer's confidential information.
Content on the site
- News summaries, event listings, job listings, pricing data and regulatory notes are gathered from public sources and linked to them. Some summaries are drafted with AI tools from the linked sources. We work to keep them accurate, but they can be incomplete or out of date. Check the original source before you act on it.
- Nothing on SecPeers is legal, financial, investment or professional advice. The Markets index is for information only and isn't a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- Events and jobs belong to their organizers and employers. We don't run them and aren't responsible for them.
- If something is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Templates and downloads
You may use, copy and adapt our templates and guides inside your own organization. Please don't resell them or republish them as your own. Framework material from NIST, MITRE, OWASP, CISA and other owners stays under its owner's license, credited where it appears.
Job listings you post
Only post roles you're authorized to post: your own company's, or a role you're retained to fill. We review every listing and may edit or remove any of them.
Sponsors
Sponsors fund Peer Tables and are named on invitations and recaps. They agree to the table rules: no presentations, no setting topics and no access to member or guest lists.
Our responsibility
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, SecPeers isn't liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its content.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top.
